The Big Kitchen's Vegetable Satay is available grilled or steamed and is a combination of sweetcorn, carrots, peas and red peppers with herbs and spices, including turmeric, cumin, ginger, chilli and paprika. It can be served as a starter, light bite or as part of a platter. It is pre-cooked and can be reheated in a few minutes.
The Big Kitchen recommends serving with a peanut sauce or spicy Thai dip. "A growing number of people are choosing to consume less meat when eating out," said commercial director Jonathan Ashmore. "Our new vegetable satay is a hassle-free solution enabling caterers to profit form this emerging demographic.
